These reflections are by members of the Passionist Community.
The “Passionist Family” comprises various Religious Congregations of men and women and lay organizations within the Roman Catholic tradition. Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation is central to our Passionist spirituality and our way of life today. Our Charism impels us to be prophetic as we confront the massive inequalities in the distribution of the world’s resources. We must respond with urgency to halt the destruction of our planet, and work for a more just and compassionate world where the rights and dignity of the whole community of life are upheld and respected.
Our motto –“May the Passion of Christ be always in our hearts”– is found in the Sign that identifies us.
Yes, indeed…I think this is such a wonderful way to live, especially when you live for a cause much greater than that of your own. I love the work the Passionist Community does. “Open wide the doors to Christ”. That is our responsibility! We have an moral obligation to let everyone know, in essence, they are not alone, not in this by themselves and to be there for one another just as Christ would have us to do.
