Father Robert Joerger, is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. Ordained in 1977, he received master’s degrees in Theology and Divinity from St John’s University, NY, and in Spirituality from Creighton University in Nebraska.

Father Joerger also served as Provincial Superior from 1990 to 1998. He went on to serve as a councilor to the General Superior of the Passionist Congregation traveling extensively to visit various international Passionist provinces. His past ministries also include directing the former St Gabriel’s Retreat House for Youth on Shelter Island, N.Y. as well as preaching parish missions and retreats.
